THANKS FROM TINY
I feel very honored having my tribute
to my bro at the top of the site.
He was a very special bother to
all of us in the VOAMC and of course
to al the Vets out there.
When I signed the guest book I was in tears
writing from the heart ... Only
Moby would understand my words that
is why I wrote it to him.
Thanks "Doc" great job
Until our paths cross again.
Tiny
Dear Jeff (Doc) Dentice
I received word from a UAW Member that
Dennis has passed.
I was and still am in shock.
First let me
say, I am so sorry for the loss of your friend.
This is and will be for time to come, a most
difficult path in your life.
My heart will hold you and the Veterans close,
for Dennis gave so much of himself for the privilege of Freedom.
Thank you Doc
for your website - I visit it often.
Your Tribute to Dennis
is quite moving. It has helped console an aching heart.
I wanted so to attend the Memorial, yet
my disability makes it difficult for long traveling.
I met Dennis at the Veteran's Conference,
UAW Family Education Center, Black Lake.
My name is Benita, I worked as a bus driver.
I lost a brother-in-law in Vietnam, and my brother
passed from the effects of Vietnam, at the age
of 40. So yes, the Veterans Organization truly spirits my heart.
Although I am unable to attend the Memorial
for Dennis, know my prayers are with
you all and remember Dennis' Spirit will never
leave our hearts.
Doc I would love to honor Dennis.
If there is a Memorial set up, please pass
on the information, I truly would appreciate
hearing from you.
Warmly and in Peace,
Benita

My name is Gary Mattson I was good friends with
Dennis when we lived in Kenosha.
We both worked at AMC/Chrysler until I was transfer
to a parts depot in Ca. in 1989 after the assembly ended.
He was a groomsman in my wedding and knew him
from Dons Bar and Chris's Bar.
I heard about his passing but not how, but would
like to know a little more. I know you don't know
me from adam but I really didn't know the rest
of his family that good.
So I don't what to bother them in their time
of sorrow.

"Doc has called Gary and talked with him for
a bit"
Doc,
As a long time friend, I was shocked to see a
memorial poster for Dennis Eternicka!
I have been out of Kenosha for some time.
I was sitting in a Gin Mill in Racine and saw a
poster with an American Flag on it. I wandered
over to see what it was about......
My knees buckled! My friend, Dennis was
not with us anymore........
Dennis and I were friends for way more than 20
years..... We played on the same softball teams,
on the same pool teams, drank at the same bars
(Don's - Kenosha), rode together,
laughed and cried together......... I still
can't believe it!
My wife and I got on the web just to try to find
something out..... What could have happened?
We came upon you're web site..... Thanks
for your tribute to "Moby". It was great to see
how many people loved my old friend! I
should have never lost touch with such a good man! Tears run as I
write.
I will be at the Union Hall, in Kenosha, in February, 2005.
If there is anything that I can do to help, PLEASE, let me know!
Thank you again "Doc" for your great tribute to Dennis and all that you do for the Vets of this country!
Your website is an inspiration to all that have served and all those that love this country...........
God Bless You.... God Bless Dennis.... God Bless The United States of America!
