flight because of your status as a reservist.
Know that the rule's for enrollment was changed to allow reservist
who were called to active duty during
WWII, the Korean War, Vietnam or a veteran from any service era
who is currently terminally ill to participate and be honored.

This flight will
take off and land at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) grounds
in Oshkosh.
*Welcome Home Ceremonies
for Old Glory Honor Flights are free to the public and take place at ATW
the evening of each
flight (doors open to public approx. 7pm) with the exception of the EAA
Yellow Ribbon
Flight where the
ceremony will take place at Boeing Plaza inside the Oshkosh EAA grounds
and tickets are required.
Freedom
to Liberty: A Mission of Healing Retreat
A Mission of Healing
retreat which honors veterans of the Global War on Terrorism. The retreat
honors
veterans that served
in Iraq, Afghanistan or elsewhere in the Middle East in combat or in direct
support
of the combat activities.
Veterans are honored with a no-cost trip to New York City to visit the
911 Memorial
and Museum, the
“Freedom Tower” and the Statue of Liberty. Flights honoring veterans of
Desert Shield, and
Desert Storm are
coming just as soon as the memorial in D.C. is complete.

4 will take place, Thursday, August 27, 2026 through Sunday, August
30, 2026

5 will take place, Wednesday, September 9, 2026, through Saturday,
September 12, 2026
Tuesday, October 27, 2026 out of Appleton International Airport (ATW)
Please
join us for this very special event to welcome our local heroes home!
The
flight departs from and returns back to the Appleton International Airport.
Parking
is free as is admission to the Welcome Home Celebration Parade within the
airport.
We
encourage the public to carpool and begin arriving around 7:30 PM with
an anticipated
arrival
time of 8:30 PM from Washington, DC. Wear your patriotic clothing, visit
the Old Glory Honor Flight volunteers
at
the merchandise booth, listen to the band and meet other Honor Flight families.
It's an experience you will never forget!
