VET'S DAY ILLINOIS -
Saturday,
August 16, 2008
A full day of fun, refreshments
and prizes will be at the Veterans Home in Manteno, Illinois.
The purpose for this
day of celebration is to make some Veterans life a little happier,
to bring them some joy,
and to let them know that they are not forgotten.
Festivities begin at
9:00 a.m. and will end at 3:00 p.m. For more information you
can contact any member
of your Veterans committee or the State Chairman,

Remember volunteers
and cash donations are always in need.

VETS DAY STEAK DINNER

American Legion post 1200 in Monee after our event for volunteers.
Dinner will be from 6 to 8 pm. Price
approximately. $14
Please R.S.V.P by August 11, 2008 to guarantee yourself a dinner.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
• Volunteer… Come out and spend the day with a Vet.
• Donate Items… (i.e.) Stuffed Animals, t-shirts, hats,
etc.
